Porchetta or cooked ham is a traditional dish in Italy.
It is made locally and prepared in an Italian way, the meat slowly roasted traditionally for many hours. The pork is emptied, boned and seasoned with salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary and sage. It is golden brown, tasty and fragrant.
It is usually sliced thinly, can be used as filling for pizza, sandwiches with or w/out lettuce, cheese and tomato. It can be served warm or cold. Can be conserve in the freezer.
